BOSTON, Oct. 26, 2015 – MCG Partners, a Greater Boston-based management-consulting group, announced today that Carol C. Malysz will join as managing director of Career Transition Advisors, the prominent provider of career transition, management, consulting, coaching and outplacement services in New England. Career Transition Advisors in a subsidiary of MCG Partners, a Chamber of Commerce winner of “Entrepreneur of the Year” and premier resource for leadership, talent, sales, and organizational effectiveness solutions.
Carol will be responsible for running and growing Career Transition Advisors. She is an entrepreneurial leader whose career has been devoted to helping executives and professionals manage career transitions and change. Previously, Carol spent seven years as vice president at New Directions. Carol drove new business opportunities and built networks and relationships with leaders at local and Fortune 500 companies to secure career and life transition services for their executives.

Prior to her role at New Directions, Carol started the Center for Women & Enterprise of Rhode Island and served as executive director for nine years, building business development programs for more than 5,000 entrepreneurs and securing $17 million in bank financing for female business owners. She served on the board of the national Association of Women’s Business Centers, supporting development of entrepreneurial women. Carol has won numerous awards for her advocacy and innovative programs for women in business. Previously, she served in the leadership of the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation, where she developed successful public/private partnerships.
A founding member and president of the Executive Women’s Golf Association of Rhode Island, Carol was honored with the national organization’s 2006 Canon Businesswoman of the Year Award for her entrepreneurial and business leadership. She is a contributing author to EWGA’s 2014 publication, “Teeing Up for Success: Insights and Inspiration from Extraordinary Women.”
Carol earned her MBA in entrepreneurship from Babson College, is a graduate of the Center for Creative Leadership and a certified executive coach. She is a member of the Human Resource Leadership Forum and serves on the marketing committee. She was recently appointed executive in residence for the Center for Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership at Babson College.

New Professional Development Workshops Offer Personalized Management Training
BOSTON, July 23, 2014 – MCG Partners, a Greater Boston-based management-consulting group, announced today the establishment of its Leadership Institute© and with that the inaugural session of its Management Development Program – a leadership development program aimed at cultivating the success of new and existing managers within organizations of all sizes. Managers can now enroll in any number of six cumulative courses as part of the Management Development Program’s series of interactive training sessions starting Sept. 8. The MCG Partners Leadership Institute will also launch an Executive Leadership program in early 2015.
MCG Partners designed its Leadership Institute© Management Development Program to guide participants of all levels in understanding their own personal leadership style and how to adapt those predispositions to help others improve performance and achieve results. Sessions include a suite of self-assessment tools to capture insights into individual strengths and gaps, ensuring a highly tailored and personalized training experience.
